United Hydrogen and the Sarawak government deepen hydrogen energy cooperation and jointly build a cr

At a crucial juncture for the large-scale development of the hydrogen energy industry in Southeast Asia, the Singapore Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Sarawak State Government of Malaysia, jointly hosted a high-profile dinner, inviting Ms. Ma Xia, the Chairman and CEO of United Hydrogen Group, to attend. They officially awarded United Hydrogen Group the title of "Official Hydrogen Energy Partner of Sarawak". This certification has further strengthened United Hydrogen's determination to list Southeast Asia as a core region for its global expansion. Through technology export, industrial chain integration, and ecosystem co-construction, it aims to gradually establish a regional hydrogen energy network covering production, storage and transportation, and application. In response to the challenges of weak hydrogen energy infrastructure and scattered application scenarios in Southeast Asia, on-site research was conducted on the local renewable energy endowment and hydrogen energy industry ecosystem. This not only reconfirms the potential of the Southeast Asian market but also marks a key move in its "technology empowerment + localized operation" strategy. Attendees included Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi bin Abdul Ghani, Chairman of the Singapore Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office (STATOS), CEO Chew Chang Guan, Director Datu Hii Chang Kee, and Director Datu Laura Lee Ngien Hion.

On the 23rd, the Singapore Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office (STATOS) and the United  Hydrogen Group  jointly visited and inspected the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in Kuching. The abundant hydropower resources in Sarawak have reduced the cost of green hydrogen production, making it one of the earliest countries in Southeast Asia to invest in hydrogen energy buses, equipment and infrastructure on a large scale. This has made Sarawak a hydrogen hub in Southeast Asia and laid the foundation for large-scale production of green hydrogen.

On the 24th, United Hydrogen Group held a meeting with the Singapore Sarawak Trade Tourism Office (STATOS) and the Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) CEM Chief Business Development Manager Chen Yi. During the visit, Ms. Ma Xia, the Chairman and CEO of United Hydrogen Group, gave the delegation a detailed introduction to its "production-storage-transport-addition-use-management" full-chain ecosystem.United Hydrogen Group, as one of the leading hydrogen energy service providers in China, closely cooperates with local governments and is committed to the development of the entire hydrogen energy industry chain (production, hydrogen refueling stations and applications). Relying on the "Eastern Hydrogen Port" project in Jiaxing Port Area, it has created a demonstration cluster integrating zero-carbon operation of port machinery, hydrogen heavy truck logistics, and purification of industrial by-product hydrogen. It has also successfully implemented multiple projects in cities such as Qingdao (Shandong), Luliang (Shanxi), and Handan (Hebei), providing Sarawak with a replicable "Chinese solution". In response to the problem that Sarawak does not have sufficient domestic demand to build a complete hydrogen industry chain - with a small population and economic scale, unable to support development independently - United Hydrogen Group gradually realizes cross-border application of hydrogen technology, regional industry chain collaboration, and green energy policy alignment. This is also an important part of United Hydrogen Group's "Global Super Factory Plan".

This government-business dialogue has facilitated the expansion of United Hydrogen Group's production bases in the Middle East and North America, providing a new pivot point for Southeast Asia as part of its overseas strategy. In the future, leveraging Sarawak's "Southeast Asian Green Energy Hub" positioning, both parties plan to hold regular academic exchange meetings, connecting Chinese equipment, Southeast Asian resources, and the global market. This will provide a platform for global governments (including those that have successfully implemented hydrogen energy projects) to share experiences, build a hydrogen energy community of "mutual technology exchange, common standards, and mutual talent flow", and jointly create a "technology-industry-policy" tripartite cooperation model, promoting the transition of the Southeast Asian hydrogen energy industry from demonstration projects to large-scale applications.
