United Hydrogen collaborates with Bengbu to build the "Huaihe Hydrogen Port"

On November 21st, the Development and Management Committee of Bengbu Economic Development Zone in Anhui Province and Zhejiang United  Hydrogen  Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, jointly launching the projects of Huaihe Hydrogen Port, Hydrogen Data Center and Hydrogen Joint Factory.

As the core carrier of the project, "Huaihe Hydrogen Port" will leverage the geographical advantages of the Bengbu Huaihe Golden Waterway area to build an unmanned, intelligent and green zero-carbon port that integrates data-based intelligent management, green energy supply and industrial collaboration. It will become a pioneering model of clean energy ports in Anhui Province and even the entire country.

Bengbu City, as a key energy industry development city in Anhui Province, is fully committed to implementing the "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" goals. This cooperation is regarded as a model of local government and market entities working together:

Green shipping breakthrough: The project will be the first to conduct new energy vessel trials on the Huaihe River mainline, promoting the green energy transformation of the Huaihe River;

Energy structure optimization: By replacing industrial coal and natural gas with green hydrogen, it is expected to effectively reduce carbon emissions, helping Bengbu build a clean and low-carbon energy system;

Industrial cluster effect: Attracting multiple hydrogen energy upstream and downstream enterprises to settle down, forming a billion-level industrial cluster, creating a large number of job opportunities.

The experience in industrial resource integration and scenario operation of hydrogen energy will accelerate the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Bengbu from "single breakthrough" to "full-chain connection".

And United Hydrogen, as a leader in the domestic hydrogen energy scenario-based solution, will drive technological iterations based on scenarios and deepen industrial value through operations.

This cooperation is not only a crucial move for  United Hydrogen to "establish a foothold in the central region and radiate throughout China" as part of their strategic plan, but also highlights the enterprises' responsibility in enabling regional green development through hydrogen energy. Under the leadership of the "dual carbon" goal, both the government and enterprises are currently writing new chapters in the hydrogen energy era through innovative practices, providing a vibrant model for the national energy revolution and industrial upgrading.
