On December 11th, the 7th Zhejiang International Smart Transportation Industry Expo opened grandly at the Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. As one of the leading enterprises in the hydrogen energy field, United Hydrogen was invited to participate in the exhibition. This expo, with the theme of "Strengthening the transportation economy and taking the lead as a pioneer", comprehensively showcased the achievements of Zhejiang's comprehensive transportation industry development, embodying "Zhejiang technology, Zhejiang products, Zhejiang services, Zhejiang standards", striving to create "an industry conference, an innovation conference, and an order conference", promoting the implementation of projects for industrial cooperation, and effectively serving the construction of the pioneers of the comprehensive transportation industry.
The Zhejiang International Smart Transportation Industry Expo is jointly organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Shaoxing City Government of Hangzhou. Since 2018, it has successfully held six editions, attracting over 600 authoritative experts in the transportation field and more than 2,500 domestic and foreign key enterprises to participate. It showcased over 2,000 new technologies, new products, and new applications in the transportation sector, held over 70 conferences and activities, and signed 206 key projects, making it one of the most comprehensive, diverse, and integrated exhibitions in the national comprehensive transportation field.
On the spot, Ms. Yang Jing, the president of the Hydrogen Commercial Application Division of Zhejiang United Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr. Xu Xiaodong, the general manager of Hangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd., officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties intend to fully integrate their respective technical, R&D and market resource advantages, and deepen strategic synergy around the digitalization of industries and the green and low-carbon development strategies. They will strengthen innovative cooperation in areas such as energy management, smart grids, and green technology applications. Together, they will explore innovative applications of hydrogen technology in the field of smart transportation, injecting strong momentum into the green transformation of the transportation industry in Zhejiang.
The Hangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd. is the core entity responsible for the construction and operation of natural gas utilization projects in Hangzhou. Its business covers areas such as natural gas transmission and distribution, gas engineering installation, vehicle natural gas and new energy. It serves over 1.9 million users. The operational capabilities of its "urban energy lifeline" complement the positioning of "full-chain hydrogen solution provider" of United Hydrogen . United Hydrogen will leverage its rich experience in hydrogen transportation services to collaborate with Hangzhou Gas to establish a "hydrogen + intelligent" dual-wheel-driven green transportation service system, jointly promoting the coordinated supply of hydrogen and traditional energy.
United Hydrogen's technical matrix provides a solid foundation for the cooperation. This signing coincides with the crucial period when Zhejiang is promoting the construction of a modern transportation industry cluster. According to the "Zhejiang Province Hydrogen Energy Development Plan (2025-2030)", by 2027, there will be 50 hydrogen refueling stations built across the province and 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be promoted. The cooperation between United Hydrogen Energy and Hangzhou Gas will directly assist Hangzhou in achieving the construction goal of "One Port, Two Corridors, Multiple Zones" (Yangzhou Hydrogen Green Port, Jingguang/Hukun Hydrogen Corridor， Multi-application Demonstration Zone).
