In the first half of 2026, UH-Dongfang Hydrogen Port Refueling Station – with safe operation as its foundation and efficient supply assurance as its core – saw its hydrogen refueling business scale grow steadily, while its average monthly refueling volume remained at a consistently high level. While ensuring a stable supply of hydrogen for transportation applications, the station also made solid progress in strengthening its safety production practices, achieving a seamless synergy between business growth and safety management, thereby injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
I. Robust Supply Assurance:
Green Hydrogen Refueling Demonstrates Operational Strength – In the first half of the year, the hydrogen refueling operations at Dongfang Hydrogen Port's hydrogen refueling station operated smoothly and demonstrated strong resilience:
Leading the way from the start: The hydrogenation volume in the first month of the year reached the peak for the first half of the year, fully demonstrating strong market demand and efficient station service capabilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for ensuring year-round supply stability.
Resilient Stability: Despite fluctuations in hydrogenation volumes from February to June due to seasonal changes and market volatility, the overall operational trend remained stable; in March and April, these volumes gradually returned to the normal operating range, continuously providing reliable zero-carbon power supply for heavy-duty hydrogen-powered trucks, commercial vehicles, and other applications.
Rapid recovery: In May, due to short-term external environmental factors, hydrogenation volumes experienced a temporary decline; however, the team swiftly optimized its operational strategies, leading to a strong rebound by June – demonstrating robust market recovery capabilities and efficient supply assurance capabilities.

II. Safety Assurance: Meetings + Simulations – Strengthening Refueling Security Measures:
To ensure the safe and orderly operation of hydrogen refueling services and to implement the requirements of the 25th National Work Safety Month campaign – "Everyone Prioritizes Safety; Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies" – the station has adopted the theme "Safety Assurance for Hydrogen Refueling and Supply Security" and conducted specialized safety meetings alongside practical emergency response drills.

Specialized meeting for empowerment: The station manager conveyed the industry-wide safety production directives; conducted a post-operation review of typical hazard cases—including hydrogen refueling operations, equipment inspections, and special equipment management—clarified key safety control points for hydrogen storage and transportation, vehicle refueling, and fire safety monitoring during the high-temperature flood season; refined the job-specific safety responsibility lists; launched a comprehensive self-inspection initiative for potential hazards; strengthened risk prevention awareness among all personnel; and ensured the safety of the hydrogen refueling process from the source.

Practical drill: The exercise simulated a hazardous scenario involving pipeline valve failure and hydrogen leakage during the refueling of a hydrogen-fueled vehicle; the on-duty personnel immediately the gas supply and shut down the main power source, swiftly evacuated all personnel and vehicles, and established a secured perimeter. Emergency responders donned protective gear and utilized detection instruments to locate the leakage point; they then employed water mist dilution to contain the hazard and systematically completed the entire response process—including leak sealing, monitoring, and on-site restoration. Following the drill, a post-exercise review was conducted to identify gaps in the response procedures and optimize the emergency plan's operational flow, thereby comprehensively enhancing employees' ability to identify potential hazards and coordinate emergency response actions in hydrogen refueling scenarios.

III. Staying True to Our Mission for a Sustainable Future:
Deepening Our Commitment to Hydrogen Energy to Support Green Mobility – From Ensuring Efficient Supply to Conducting Safety Drills, the Dongfang Hydrogen Port Refueling Station consistently adheres to the principle of "Safety First, Service Foremost." Through professional operations and rigorous management, it provides a stable, clean, and safe power supply for hydrogen-powered transportation. Moving forward, the station will routinely conduct safety training sessions and emergency response drills, continuously optimize the efficiency of its hydrogen refueling services, and enhance the quality of its supply assurance efforts. By advancing steadfastly in fulfilling its "Dual Carbon" commitment, the station will inject sustained, robust hydrogen energy capabilities into the transition toward green transportation.
