On September 8, 2025, the Conference on the Promotion of the Hydrogen Corridor between Chengdu and Chongqing and the Synergistic Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry by "Four Types of Enterprises" (state-owned enterprises, central enterprises, private enterprises, and foreign enterprises) was grandly held at the Chongqing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. As a representative of private and foreign enterprises in the hydrogen energy field, United Hydrogen Group shared its H₂aaS (Hydrogen as a Service) service system at the conference and signed the "Cooperation and Operation Agreement for the Demonstration Project of the Hydrogen Corridor between Chengdu and Chongqing", becoming a part of promoting the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle.
The H₂aaS service system of United Hydrogen Group, with the core concept of "promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature and becoming China's largest hydrogen gas service provider", is building a hydrogen energy ecological closed loop centered on hydrogen gas and with terminal application products as the consumption carrier. It covers the entire industrial chain, including energy production, storage and transportation, infrastructure construction, hydrogen energy product application, core component production, and carbon asset management, to create a one-stop service.
This system builds a closed loop for the hydrogen energy industry through three innovative modules: the intelligent hydrogen production module, the efficient storage and transportation module, and the intelligent refueling module.
Relying on the independently developed electrolysis water hydrogen production equipment and combining the abundant hydropower and wind power resources in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, it can achieve large-scale production of green hydrogen, improve the high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage tank and liquid hydrogen transportation technologies, and effectively reduce transportation costs. At the same time, through the "GREEN DATA" big data platform, it can monitor the operation data of hydrogen energy service centers along the Chengdu-Chongqing expressway in real time, achieving the effect of improving refueling efficiency and shortening fault response time.
Ms. Ma Xia, the chairman and CEO of United Hydrogen Group, stated at the launch ceremony: "The H₂aaS system will break the bottleneck of traditional hydrogen projects, which are characterized by 'heavy assets and long cycles'. Through modular deployment and digital operation, it will provide a 'packaged and ready' solution for the Chengdu-Chongqing hydrogen corridor."
During the conference, United Hydrogen Group signed the "Cooperation and Operation Agreement for the Chengdu-Chongqing 'Hydrogen Corridor' Demonstration Project" with five enterprises including Qingling Automobile Group and Chongqing Chemical Industry Group. In addition, United Hydrogen Group also reached a strategic partnership with Chongqing Digital Transportation Company, integrating its H₂aaS system into the "GREEN DATA" big data platform to achieve interconnection of hydrogen energy equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure, providing digital support for the first mountainous highway new energy corridor in the country and achieving full-chain coordination of "infrastructure + equipment manufacturing + application scenarios + data services".
At this conference, the "Four Enterprises" jointly established the hydrogen energy industry alliance. United Hydrogen Group was one of the first 20 member units and served as the deputy chairperson of the technical standards committee. The person in charge of the rotating chair unit, Chongqing Expressway Group, pointed out: "The addition of Liaohui Hydrogen Energy marks that the Chengdu-Chongqing hydrogen corridor has moved from 'domination by state-owned enterprises' to 'ecological co-construction'. Its internationalized technical perspective and market-oriented operation experience will inject new vitality into the industry alliance."
The convening of this conference marks that the hydrogen energy industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle has entered a new stage from "technological breakthrough" to "scale application". United Hydrogen Group stated that it will continue to increase its investment in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, helping the Chengdu-Chongqing Hydrogen Corridor become a strategic fulcrum for the innovative development of the national hydrogen energy industry.
